The fair sex like men with stubble.
Specialists from the University of New South Wales found that women usually opt for men with 10-day stubble, bypassing clean-shaven men.
To participate in the experiment, scientists selected representatives of both sexes with traditional sexual orientation – 177 men and 350 women. The subjects were shown 10 photos with images of clean-shaven men and owners of facial hair of varying degrees of unshavenness.
Who do women choose
Clean-shaven gentlemen were the least liked by the fair sex, while men, on the contrary, liked them the most.
In addition, the participants of the experiment had to evaluate the photographs according to the following criteria: health status, male attractiveness and parenting abilities. It turned out that the beard and stubble make the appearance of the stronger sex more attractive – this was noted by the participants in the experiment of both sexes.
Also, all participants in the study noted the presence, in their opinion, of excellent parental abilities in the owners of stubble on the face, and the fair sex see men with stubble as ideal partners for both long-term and short-term relationships.
