Belly fat at this age is rather difficult to lose, as the metabolic plasticity of the body decreases, he explained.
According to the doctor, in this case, the most effective exercises will be cardio training and complexes on the press area – flexion and extension. A good helper in losing weight will be a full body massage, which will improve blood circulation and help burn subcutaneous fat.
Exercise will be ineffective without dietary adjustments. It is necessary to remove foods high in sugar and fat from the menu: confectionery, sweets, white bread, alcohol, fast food and fatty foods, the nutritionist said.
Any food restrictions in people after 40 years of age can result in depression, apathy, loss of strength, insomnia and changes in mood. To make this period easier, one should also pay a lot of attention to mental health, Ginzburg emphasized.
