Refusal of caffeine, routine activities and physical activity help to cope with the problem of sleep disturbance due to stress, said somnologist Sofia Cherkasova in an interview with RT.

According to her, if a person understands that he will not be able to fall asleep due to stress, you need to do some kind of routine or read a book, but do not turn on the computer.

“You need to return to bed when true drowsiness appears,” Cherkasova noted.

After a night spent without sleep due to stress, the doctor recommended not going to bed early and not trying to sleep off during the day. According to Cherkasova, this will help stabilize sleep. Moderate physical activity will also help improve it.

The somnologist noted that for 30% of people it is normal not to sleep in case of stress.
